Traffic in Taiwan SUCKS. I don't care what you think. It BLOWS. It SUCKS. It is retarded... Never have I been in a country with such amazing infractructure being used in such a shitty shitty way. Watch and comment. Or don't.

Formosa Island, 120 km off the coast of China is better known as Taiwan. Administered by the Republic of China, it is an odd place politically as well as in many other ways. This new series will offer a bit of a closer look at the place and of course once again piss off a lot of people, but that's O.K. Enjoy!

Kinmen Island, 150km west of Taiwan and only 2km from the Mainland is where the Taiwan-China split took place. We fly in for a few days to snoop around and see the remains of the civil war.

Little Kinmen Island is EVEN CLOSER to the Mainland, and until recently has been under constant threat of an invasion. As a result it is a maze of bunkers and minefields. CHeck it out!

Back on the main island, we visit Taipei 101 and Longshan Temple. Taipei 101 is currently the tallest habitated building in the world, though this title will be taken away by the Burj Dubai in 2009.

This is a short mix of the random shenanigans that we engaged in over the summer months of 2008 in Fulong, Taiwan. I taught a number of Open Water and Advanced courses, worked on my instruction skills in Chinese, and, most importantly, had a blast being a sea monkey.
