Hi ! I strongly suggest to visit my country, Burma or Myanmar if you want to learn some about pure Theravada Buddhism. There are many branches about Buddhism but not many countries left with pure Buddhist phenomenon. It is important to go right place to know the right teacher. I met with some people in Taiwan, their thinking and learning Buddhism are slightly different with Buddhist. Here are some useful links about Buddhism. http://web.ukonline.co.uk/buddhism/lokadm2a.htm http://www.nibbana.com/
i am very interested in becoming a monk and leading the life of a monk so that this cycle of birth and death is put to an end. but i am effected by a lack of information as well as financial constraints as also family opposition. my email address is skavca@live.com kindly guide me as to how i can go about it. is it more relevant to serve my old mother first or would it suffice if i were to take up a monk's life at this point of time, when my mother has nobody other than me to depend on. although i am practically of no use to her. thantki

Hi,
I've been working on a website called Vital Penghu. It's a collection of reviews, articles and photographs of the Penghu archipelago. If you're heading to Penghu, you might like to check it out. It contains some key information about Magong City including restaurants, pubs, beaches, accommodation and the surrounding islands. It's a work in progress that I will be adding to over time and I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions that you might have.
whl.travel is a global grassroots network of travel websites. It caters to independent spirits journeying off the beaten track and tired of the overdone travel options offered by most online service providers.
