    Schedule Changes for MRT Muzha Line

    To allow tests for the upcoming MRT Neihu Line, the City announced that operations along MRT Muzha Line will be suspended during the weekends between December 6, 2008, and January 18, 2009. During the "off" days, the Department of Transportation (DOT) will offer transfer buses to replace train services.

    To promote the appreciation for art and aesthetics and to educate residents on the importance of the city’s cultural heritage, the Taipei Confucius Temple Governing Board is holding “Getting Close up with the Artists – an Exhibition of Calligraphy and Drawing Competition Entries” at the temple's East Rooms from today until December 21.

    The annual plenary meeting for the Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) will take place in Kuala Lumpur between November 19 and November 22. Continuing its focus on the theme of “Splendid Taipei”, the Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT) will be organizing various activities at the affiliated exhibition to promote tourism features and attractions of Taipei to the residents of the host city.
