Yuantong Chan Temple

Yuantong Chan Temple (圓通禪寺) is located in Zhonghe. The temple is beautifully constructed with stone bricks. There are great views over Taipei from the temple.

Behind the temple is the beginning of the Zhonghe Walking Trail (中和步道). This trail takes you through some nice forest and you can follow the trail all the way to Xindian. To get to the temple and hiking trail you can take the free tourist bus from Jing'an MRT Station (景安站) or take bus 201, 241, 242, 243 or 344 to the Yuantong Temple stop. The temple is located at Lane 367 Yuantong Road, Zhonghe (台北縣中和市圓通路367巷).
