The Fine Arts Museum hosts many exhibitions of artists from around the world. It also has a huge collection of Taiwanese art. It is located at No. 181 Zhongshan North Road, Section 3 (台北市中山北路三段181號) about ten minutes walk from Yuanshan MRT station (圓山捷運站).

Next door to the museum is the Taipei Story House (台北故事館). It is housed in a curious looking European style wood and brick building known as the Yuanshan Villa. It holds small exhibitions on different topics. It is worth a short detour while visiting the Fine Arts Museum.
