Joi's a beautiful Singaporean, that's very popular in Taiwan. I was introduced to her in my Chinese language school by my Chinese teacher with this next song, which - although simple - shows that this girl has a very deep and special voice. Here's 陪我看日出 :

By now, most of you have already figured out that my exposure to Chinese and music in Taiwan is mostly through my female Chinese teachers in the language center, which means that they music I listen to is a very concentrated sweet kind of female singers. I've already been told that the way I speak Chinese might be more appropriate for a girl. :P
