Banqiao is the capital of Taipei County and the largest County administered city in Taiwan. It is only a short distance from Taiwan. It's railway station is a major transport hub interconnecting the Taiwan Railways, Taipei MRT, High Speed Rail and local and intercity bus services. Banqiao has a total of five MRT stations all on the blue line. The stations are Jiangzicui, Xinpu, Banqiao, Fuzhong and Far Eastern Hospital.
