I'm Yuande, french expatriate in Tainan, on the island since some years now.
Just want to let you know that there is a french website dedicated to Taiwan for the french speaking community: Taiwan Mag
Taiwan Mag is the first global french website dedicated to Taiwan. It is a collaborative project: french speakers in Taiwan or in other places collaborate to make it work.
Taiwan Mag is a non-profit website, just some Google ads to generate some funds for the payment of the website domain and host fees.
There is a lot of information about our island (tips, contacts address, visa/ARC questions, tourism spots ...) and also a forum board for discussions.

Well, yes, it is dedicated to french speakers in Taiwan.
We have a lot of web-sources for english speakers, but almost nothing in french, and we think Taiwan deserve something also in french ...
