I'm currently living in New York. I'm planning to visit Taiwan about 30 days. Could you please tell me...
1. How do I get a tourist taiwan visa? How much approximately does it cost?
Do I need to apply it through travel agencies? Anyway, I don't want to join a tour.
2. In addition, I'm holding F-1 visa as international student. Can I just get my ticket one way to Taiwan then book another ticket to my country from Taiwan? Because I'm also planning to leave USA for good. I read a website, it's written that I need to submit a round trip ticket.

It will take you to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York where you can all of those questions answered, or atleast - a phone number you can call and ask.
