Airport to HSR station and Taichung
I am supposed to vist my friend in Taichung sometime soon. But I am a bit nervous about traveling in Taiwan, as I am not familier with traveling in Asia...except for Japan...
Would you please do me a favor about this?
How do I find the bus stop in Taipei Airport to go to the HSR station? (I don't understand Chinese.) Do I need to buy a ticket for the bus somewhere before getting on it? How much does it cost to Taichung from Taoyuan (nearest station from the airport?)? Are there many taxies always at the Taichung station?

The shuttle bus costs NT$20 and you need to pay in cash so make sure you have change.
The trip from Taoyuan to Taichung will cost NT$250 for an unreserved seat or NT$540 for a reserved seat. You can check the timetable online at the Taiwan HSR website which has English and Japanese versions. Here is a link to the Japanese website.

I don't think you will have any trouble finding a taxi at the Taiwan HSR Station. It may help if you have the address where you are going written down in Chinese characters.
