5-6 days in Taiwan
I'm planning to arrive at Taiwan at the beginning of October. I read your guides about places in Taiwan, but it would really help if you would give me a more specific recommendation for a 5-6 days visit in Taiwan.
Is 5-6 days enough to get a good taste of Taiwan? Should I aim for seeing more than just Taipei?
Oh, and another thing - you didn't mention any tour companies, do you have a list of companies giving intense travel tours around Taiwan in English?

For 5-6 days in Taiwan definitely aim to see more than Taipei. I would recommend 2-3 days in Taipei and 2-3 days travelling to somewhere else. You could also base yourself in Taipei for the whole time but do some day trips to places in Northern Taiwan.
As far as tours go you may have difficulty finding something that is specifically in English. Google found this one for me: Day Tours in Taiwan.
Taiwan Tour Bus offers an extensive range of tours. They have an English website. You would need to ask about whether the guide or driver can speak English though.
travel in taiwan
i want to travel in taiwan even for a week, because i want to visit my husband who works in taipei. is there possible i can go there coz im a filipina and i find it hard to go there just for a visit..thank you
