9th Taipei Film Festival features 120 films from 40 different countries. Films will screen at four venues in Taipei. They are Zhongshan Hall and In89 Cinema in Ximending, the Metropolitan Hall on Bade Road and the Taipei County Auditorium in Banqiao.

The Tung Flower Festival is in Tucheng (土城), Taipei County. It celebrates the blossoming of the tung flowers (桐花). Various activities and events will take place over the month, but most of the special events will take place on 28-29 April 2007.
