I am not involved in

I am not involved in teaching English anymore and it is always hard to make specific recommendations. The only thing I can suggest is trying to find out as much about a school as you can before you start working there. If you can talk to current or former teachers at the school then they can give you the best advice.

Some other things to look at are how long has the school been in business and what is the average length of stay of teachers there. If there are no teachers that have been there for more than a year it can be a warning signal.

For accommodation while looking for a job there are a number of hostels. You can find details on the budget accommodation pages here at Taiwanderful. Classified ads at Taiwanted.com and tealit.com may also have some short term accommodation.
