Qingshui Zushi Temple 清水祖師廟

Qingshui Zushi Temple

Qingshui Zushi Temple

The Qingshui Zushi Temple (清水祖師廟) contains some beautiful stone carvings and it seems a little out of place in the midst of Tucheng's industrial area. It shouldn't be confused with the more famous temple of the same name in nearby Sanxia. It is located at Zhongyang Road Section 4 Lane 67 (土城市中央路四段67巷). The name of the bus stop is Dingpu(頂埔). The Blue 45 or the 705 or 706 to Sanxia buses will stop there. The temple is also a starting point for the hiking trail to Danuanjian Shan (大暖尖山). The path is clearly signposted (in Chinese) from the temple.
