Anyone in Taiwan interested in photography would surely know Craig Ferguson. Craig is a professional photographer and his blog features great images of Taiwan and Asia. Craig won both the peer-judged and online vote for Best Photography Blog in the 2009 Taiwan Best Blog Awards. Taiwanderful spoke to Craig about life in Taiwan and his experience as a blogger.
The results of the voting in the 2009 Taiwan best blog awards are below.
Voting for the 2009 Taiwan Best Blog Awards is now open. Anybody can participate in the online voting — there is no need to register. To vote for your favorite blogs go to the blog directory and check out the blogs in the various categories. The categories are personal, travel, photography, general, and politics. (Update: Due to a lack of entries in some categories, tech, language & education and other have been merged into general or personal.) You can vote for more than one blog. You can also vote for a blog more than once. More details on the voting method are given below.
Taiwanderful is again running the Taiwan Best Blog Awards in 2009 following the inaugural competition last year. This year a new feature is being added to the awards. As well as online voting there will also be a peer-judged award. A team of Taiwan bloggers will judge the blogs in various categories. The judges are Ben, Portnoy, Carrie, Todd, DJ Marcus, Fili and David .
Although there are no prizes offered the awards aim to promote the wonderful content of Taiwan's blogs and encourage linking between Taiwan blogs. Entrants in the awards are encouraged to promote their own blogs and other Taiwan blogs they like through posts on their own blogs and by using social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
The award is for English-language blogs about Taiwan registered in the Taiwan blog directory at Taiwanderful. If you want your blog to be eligible for the awards you must register at Taiwanderful before 1 December 2009. Voting in the awards will take place from 1-20 December 2009 and the winner will be announced on 21 December 2009.

The project started a few years back as a service to gather blog posts from Taiwan based bloggers and provide them in an aggregated form for readers interested in Taiwan.
