Taiwanderful has been running the Best Taiwan Blog Awards 2008 for the last month. Voting opened on October 1st and closed October 31st. Voting is now closed and the results are in.

Thanks to all the bloggers, blogs and voters for taking part in choosing the best Taiwan blog for 2008.

The Best Taiwan Blog Awards 2008 for The Taiwan based English blogs we announced earlier this month opens 01/10 for voting. We invite you to tour the blog entries, visit Taiwan’s English blogs and cast your votes.

To celebrate the Taiwan blogosphere excellence we’re suggesting a small Taiwan Best Blog title award among the Taiwan blogs registered at the Taiwanderful Taiwan Blog directory.

All Taiwan blogs registered at Taiwanderful can participate. If your blog doesn’t show up at Taiwanderful, then sign up for a username and simply add it to the directory. Registered blog owners may edit their blog's details at any time.

Just wanted to point out the fact that the entire old 2004 version of Lonely Planet Taiwan is available online for you to read, scanned and hosted legally by Google Books. If you can manage reading books online and don’t necessarily need the most up-to-date information, this might save you the occasional 1000-2000NT$.
