Wow, who've thought that 70 degrees would feel chilly and one would need a jacket? Interesting mid-terms

Because I teach pronunciation and conversation courses, mid-terms are held one by one or in pairs. I enjoy the fact that I get to connect with students on an individual level this way, instead of in a class of 40 students all the time. I discovered that about half of the juniors like to watch horror films as they think it's exciting and it's fun to be scared. One guy prefers to watch horror

Franklin Graham Festival in Taipei

Two weeks ago more than 180,000 people attended the Franklin Graham Festival in Taipei. Almost 10,000 people said that they want to follow Jesus from that day forward. What a unique time for so many churches in the country to unite to support a major event. I wish we could have been there in person to witness this awesome weekend. We celebrate with you!

Michael did a great job at organizing all the events when the Arizona group was here. It was rather ambitious to put on daily rock concerts in a 45 minute radius for the week. Meals, hotels, bus rentals, venues and many other details must be arranged for the 14 visitors. Here we are at the first real rock concert. That whole part of Neipu heard them I am sure ;).
